FAQs

How much do the stamps cost?
Stamps are 25p each - we will be selling them in strips of 4 for £1.
Where can I buy stamps from?
We are grateful to all of the businesses and organisations in Uppermill who are supporting ScoutPost through selling stamps / hosting collection boxes. The Outlets page will be updated soon.
Can I send packages by ScoutPost?
No, I'm afraid not. We are only permitted to deliver cards.
What should I write on the envelope?
You should address the envelope as usual, and please include the postcode to make it easier for us. Put your return address on the back in case we are unable to deliver for some reason.
Where can I send cards to using ScoutPost?
Only Uppermill addresses please.
Do I just put my stamped cards in a regular postbox?
No, you have to use our special ScoutPost collection boxes please - use the Outlets page to see where to find them.
Why is the last posting date so early? (date to be confirmed)
We want to be sure that we allow enough time so that we can sort and deliver the cards before Christmas.
Where will the money go to?
After costs, all profits will be shared between Oldham Mountain Rescue Team and Shelterbox, helping people locally and all around the world.
I have a local business and would like to use Scoutpost to deliver cards to my customers / clients in Uppermill, who do I contact about this?
Just email uppermillscouts@gmail.com - we would love to help.
