20th Oldham is a popular and growing group. As members of the Scout Association, and sponsored by Uppermill Methodist Church we implement the following joining policy. We admit young people at the beginning of each school term, to minimise disruption

Beavers:
1. Members of Uppermill Methodist Church
    Siblings of current members of 20th Oldham 
    Beavers who are already members of TSA, who move into the area.
​    Children of Leaders, Assistant Leaders and Section Assistants.
2. All other applicants old enough to join that term, in order of how long they have been on the waiting list*.

Cubs:
1. Beavers from 20th Oldham Scout Group
2. Members of Uppermill Methodist Church
    Siblings of current members of 20th Oldham 
    Cubs who are already members of TSA, who move into the area.
    Children of Leaders, Assistant Leaders and Section Assistants.
3. Members of the Scout Association who are moving on from being Beavers at a Colony which has no Cub Pack.
4. All other applicants old enough to join that term, in order of how long they have been on the waiting list.
Scouts:
1. Cubs from 20th Oldham Scout Group
2. Members of Uppermill Methodist Church
    Siblings of current members of 20th Oldham 
    Scouts who are already members of TSA, who move into the area.
    Children of Leaders, Assistant Leaders and Section Assistants.
3. Members of the Scout Association who are moving on from being Cubs in a Pack which has no Scouts.
4. All other applicants old enough to join that term, in order of how long they have been on the waiting list*.
