Green Withens is the Watersports Centre belonging to West Yorkshire Scouts, conveniently situated between Denshaw and Ripponden on the A672. As well as offering activities for groups, they also provide individual Cubs and Scouts with opportunities to try out different water sports. Brief details and links are given below.

Cubs

Water Activity Days available to book on July 23rd, August 13th and September 3rd. Cost £14 per Cub. 4 different activities during the day - usually sailing, bell-boating, water safety and rafting.

Scouts

Stage 1 Sailing Badge, offered on Sundays - April 17th, May 15th, June 19th, July 10th, August 21st, September 18th, Cost £16 per Scout which includes RYA certificate.
