3 occasions that I have 'done my best'

3/5/2011

As discussed at tonight's meeting, one of the steps towards the completion of the Promise Challenge of the Chief Scouts Gold Award is being able to describe three occasions recently when you have done your best. To fulfil the requirements of the task, just click on the 'Add a comment' button below and tell us when and what each of your 3 examples of 'your best' were and how it has made a difference - whether to you or to anyone else.

One example would be:
2nd May - I attended a football match and as an elderly man was getting up to leave the ground he lost his footing and fell to floor. I went to see if he was OK and whether he was hurt, offering to get a first aider if needed. He was unhurt but shaken. I helped him to his feet and stayed with him until his wife returned. He thanked me for my help - my 'best' made a difference to him in a frightening situation.

Any questions, please ask one of the leaders. Remember to give three examples, rememberto say who your 'best' made a difference to and how and make sure you include your name in your response.
