I'd spend £1000 on ....

The task is simple.

All you have to do is tell us what you'd do with £1000 if your patrol was given that sum.

The only rule is that it needs to be spent on either equipment for use at Scouts or on an activity or activities that we can arrange and attend through Scouts. Other than that, it's up to you how the money is spent.

Don't assume that this is just a hypothetical task - you could very well have money to spend if you suggest the best way forward!

Happy spending!!!

This is a lot of money to know what to do with but spending some of it on achieving the Chief Scout's Gold Award if needed for this would be a good idea. Also, getting a snooker table or Xbox 360/PS3 with TV would be good things for a chill-out night. Finally, taking the scouts out somewhere like rock climbing with qualified instructors is another idea.

Maybe spending it on an air hockey or pool table might be an idea. Also we could spend it on a few trips for the scouts e.g. Lazer quest.

I think I would spend it on a rock climbing session (Preferably outdoor) and Possibly some plants for the scout garden, laser quest is also an other idea, and maybe a air hockey table.

I would spend £1000 on several things:
1) Definitely climbing in order badge ( I know its already been said!)
2) A trip to GO APE would be a good adventure for those high flighers!
3) Maybe a caving session ( This could be tricky)
4) Chill Factore!!!!! I think many people would agree with me on this one.
Finally 5) Spend it equipment for use during actual scout sessions ie: footballs and other equipment.
Isn't there already a pool and table tennis table at the church already (behind the brown door next to the games room?)

What I would do with £1000 is go on more trips like Alton towers and go ape also more camps such as in the lake district or Wales and go on some inderpendent treks. It would be good to go and listen to Bear Grills like when he came to the MEM arena.

I think it would be an good idea to use it to try and help plan a scout camp somewhere, also we could use some of it to buy some of the decathlon inflatable canoes
